Group therapy programs offer a comfortable and safe space to receive support and learn along with others.
Group therapies are as effective as individual therapy
for some diagnoses and concerns.

From Critical to Confident:
Women Rising Beyond Perfectionism

Feel heard. Manage self doubt. Craft balance.

This is a 6-week cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) based group for women dealing with negative self-talk, unrealistically high self expectations and low self-esteem.

Participants will explore how their thinking and behaviour patterns contribute to the way they feel and learn healthy options for coping while being validated and supported by like-minded women.

This group is geared to women who:

  • Have difficulty prioritizing self-care, relationships, and other interests

  • Tend to speak negatively to or about themselves

  • Resonate with the terms imposter syndrome, perfectionism and/or burn out

  • Experience ongoing high demands in their personal, family and/or professional lives and feel unable to keep up

  • Consistently worry about failure or never feel "good enough” despite a past history of success and confidence from others that know you well

This group will be limited to 8 people to allow for more meaningful interactions. We believe that a smaller group size enhances the quality of the group experience and provides everyone with ample opportunity for engagement.

Dates & Location

This group will run from February 22, 2024 - March 28, 2024. Each session will be an hour and a half long and will run from 6:30-8pm.

An initial intake assessment will be completed prior to initiating group therapy.

The cost of the group is $90 per week including an individual 1 hour one on one intake assessment with either co-facilitator. A payment plan is available.

You may be eligible for coverage by workplace insurance benefits if you have coverage for Occupational Group Therapy or Group Psychotherapy services included in your plan. Participants will receive an invoice which can be submitted if eligible. Please contact your provider to inquire about eligibility for coverage.
